Kilted Bliss!

Look what arrived in my mailbox! I just placed my hands on my first baby! Sorry if you heard me scream (again!)

I cannot tell you the feeling of accomplishment, the sense of completion, the thrill of the moment, touching my first completed book.

The ARC's (Advanced Reader Copies) have arrived for Temptation in a Kilt. In celebration of this moment, I am giving away a free ARC and a Bad Boys of the Highlands t-shirt to one lucky commenter.

All you have to do is enter a comment below, including your e-mail address, and I will select one random winner. Be sure to check back tomorrow for the name of the winner!

  9. I didn't give a line when I was being selected for jury duty. I was in the back row and the judge asked my profession. I told them historical romance author and the idiot woman who is a professor of literature at a college and should have known better snickered loud enough the judge heard her. He and I locked gazes for a moment and he gave me a grin. I suppose my expression was 'which foot should I use to kick her in her thick head' but, of course, being a professional writer and nodded back at him.

People like that have no class and waste their time doing what??? traveling the halls of malls and such? Yes, you hit my rant button, Victoria. I suppose the best thing to do is pat them on the shoulder and say something profane like "dear I am so sorry you've not achieved a dream like me" and then walk away grinning like a loon. :)
